Charuta is a math enrichment specialist for grades 1 to 5 at the Earth School, a public school in Manhattan. She works with teachers and students to create a more challenging math program for strong math students. Her role at the school includes analysis of math assessments, and the specific implications for teacher practice flowing from such analysis. Charuta also works on tough math problems with advanced sixth graders at the School at Columbia, a private school in Manhattan. Charuta has completed M.S. in Education from Bank Street College. She was a consultant in a boutique marketing strategy consulting firm and a manager in a finance company prior to her career in education and is a graduate of IIM-Ahmedabad.
